Inhabited Silence in Qualitative Research: Putting Poststructural Theory to Work (Counterpoints: Studies in the Postmodern Theory of Education)

The notion of inhabited silence calls forward consideration of that which is not 'seen' in positivistic and dualistic worldviews. It supports research and practice that pays attention to that which is made invisible in the predominant paradigms of Western thought and that which is marginalized in hegemonic discourses.
